Default Sign-In Sheet at Peacock Springs

I have not been to Peacock in three weeks and it may have been mentioned here on CDF but just in case...

There is now a clipboard with sign-in sheets and pen by the Iron Ranger at Peacock. Impossible to miss as they installed a wooden box-like thingy (I am challenged when it comes to technical names of things) to house the clipboard right next to the Iron Ranger. Every diver is required to sign in, as well as students and their instructors.

There were a lot more divers at Peacock than what was reflected on the sheet when I arrived at 10:30AM. Let's not give the Rangers or Park Management any reasons to police us. Follow the rules and sign in.

    Safe diving!

This process is done at Madison,so nothing new. I would think of this as a positive, because counting the number of people who come to a park is very important. More visitors, means more budget money.

Oh, goodness, folks; it's a head count. Federal (and other) money is distributed according to a head count.

Please, sign in. Pay your fee. If we don't, they close down the facilities. Please.

Since our governor has little use for parks and keeps talking about closing the small ones, it is important to show that this small park is downright crowded.

Haven't been, but will be happy to do it. Anything to keep them happy and money flowing.
