Cavern diving IS ALLOWED in Jug Hole
Just communicated with park management,and we got the permission for cavern divers in this system. Just remember, as always,place your C-card on the dash board,and wash your gear off of any invasive plant species that may be acquired from another site. Please don't start a dive (entering the water ) after 3pm,and be out of the park by 5pm.

I announced this too soon (my bad),but will not become official until is appears on the web page for Ichetucknee Springs State park. That may be the end of the week,but it is advised not to cavern dive until it appears there,because people enforcing the rules get official confirmation there. I don't want anybody turned away,so please wait until it appears on their web site.

I assumed cavern diving had always been allowed at Jug. I've been taking cavern divers there without issue for years.
Did something change?
If you'd been taking cavern divers there,then you were lucky and they didn't get stopped. Cavern diving was allowed before the site was closed to diving,but when it reopened after a couple years,I think several changes in administration just didn't notice it.
