Road Conditions on way to JB from Texas

Ye haw....Ryan gets to go diving in Jackson Blue this weekend. Was just sitting here thinking about th trip, and I remembered reading something about bridge damage along I-10 from one of the hurricanes. Does anyone have any more info on that, or has the damage to the bridges been fixed already?

The I-10 bridge over escambia bay is open, with two way traffic on one span. DO NOT get off the bridge eastbound at Scenic Highway, the last exit before the bay as there is no east bound re entry to the interstate.
Traffic is bad during rush hour. I came through there Sat. afternoon and it was good.
