Lost a 1200' LM Reel at Manatee

Somewhere in the first 10,000' of cave at Manatee I dropped a LM explorer reel. It is missing the break screw and had the line tied to the guide. If found please send send me a PM.

The cave gods were angered by your hubris, taking such a large reel with you.

I know how you feel. Losing the reel is bad, but it's the time to tie all those knots that really hurts.

Tony: vis was better than usual for Manatee. Not as good as it can be occasionally when the river is very high. Flow nearer the entrance didn't seem too bad, but it really was kicking in the back.
