    Default Cave Diving in Japan

I will be in Japan for work! I am looking for a place to do some diving while I am over there! If I can do some cave driving that would be at the top of my list! Anyone have any contacts?

Don't know about caves, but I've heard the ocean diving is great!

Go to Okinawa, Japan there are many caves wet and dry. Shore dives everywhere and ocean caves not to mention submarine pens. There is also good diving in Korea go to Cheju island. PM me for info but keep in mind I have not been there since the 1990,s. Lived there for 3 plus years as a dependent in high school got certified and left for college as a recreational instructor.

As has been pointed out, that's a long way - almost a thousand miles. Kinda like planning to go to Ginnie Springs because you'll be in New York.

Well typically people who work for my company will go travel after Japan but I already have a trip to Tulum planned before I knew I would be going to Japan. Otherwise I woulda used this opportunity to go to Australia or South Pacific something! I will have a 3 day weekend while there though!

Isu Peninsula has very good ocean diving and is just a few hours from Tokyo. No caves though. Jim Goddard from Discovery Divers Tokyo DDT is a good dude and has info on FB. There may be a "1st dive of the year" being organized. But most peo
