Question Lost @ Ginnie: Wedding Ring.

I filled out the lost folder at the shop, but would like to throw this out here as well.

On Monday, the 9th of April, I lost my wedding ring while doing a couple of dives in Devil's Ear.

My buddy said he saw it on my hand when entering the cave, so I'm thinking the best times of losing it would be when climbing through the entrance, through the lips, or through the keyhole.

It is a white gold ring, the inside is circular, while the outside is a mix between circular, and square, hosting four corners and curves. There are two grooves that run the circumference of the ring.

I know the chances of someone finding such a small item is slim, and it's got little value profit wise, but if someone comes across it, I would happily buy them a case.

    Thanks!

Thanks! The wife is wicked cool about it. It's just a bummer. It means a lot to me.

What specifically was your dive plan?

If your wife's being that cool, she's a keeper.

    So, here's how it went:

Entered Devils Ear on the right side of the wall. Coming up on the sign I moved center, and up to the ceiling. My hands were used getting in through the ear to about 5 feet from the sign, crawling through the lips (on the right side) I don't know if I grabbed anything in the sand room. Then I pulled myself through the keyhole restriction. Swam down to the jump for hill 400, and turned the dive. Coming back, I used hands going through the keyhole, and coming out of the ear.

    She's a pretty awesome broad. 0]

Be sure to check in the Catacombs if you're looking for it. I somehow lost a knife out of it's sheath once while scootering the gallery and it turned up 3 days later when I was messing around in the Catacombs. Good luck, hope you find it.

    Thanks.
I won't be in Ginnie for at least a year, so if it gets found, it won't be by me. 0] Thus the bat signal call for help in this thread.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but it can't hurt to ask people to keep an eye out. 0]

I'll be there for the next 12 days.
I will keep an eye out for it.
