I'm looking for any ideas on dive gear storage. I'm tearing everything back to the block walls... so anything is possible. Only thing I'm not looking at (at this point) is blending.
Here are a few I found with a quick image search:

Is there a safer way to store your regulators? I'd be concerned about insects getting into regs and wonder about hoses hanging with regs on a wall.
I prefer to seal in containers.
But seeing these pictures is otherwise inspiring after looking at my "organization."
I just pile my gear up in the corner. what is the point of building something for the gear you have today, when it probably won't be the same tomorrow.![]()
There is such a place in the back of my garage, I only use it now to store the gear that fit there when I first built it.
I'd be more concerned about moisture in a sealed container. After years of storing multiple sets of regs in milk crates and open Rubbermaid tubs, on the floor or on a shelf, I've never found insects in any of them.
I'm a fan of the gorilla rack stuff for storing doubles on top, singles and sidemount tanks under, and Rubbermaid tubs on top. Simple, but not as elegant as custom built stuff...some people have awesome garages!!

I plan on making a PVC hanger that also distributes air throughout the wet suits, but acts as a final storage location.
What I'm most interested in ideas on is tank racks, and random crap clipping. It is primarily my workshop, so I don't want the tanks sticking out too far. I'm thinking about stacking tanks on the wall only one deep. I'll probably go vertical.
Like this:
I figure room for 4x 8" tanks, plus 12x 7"ish tanks. Run 2 1x1 strips up the wall for each tank, with a loop screwed into each side for a bungee. 8 tanks in 2 rows. Some sort of a shelf over the top to support the second row of tanks. I could space the tanks based on the somewhat standard doubles spacing, just because. Build the shelf out of 2x8 or 2x10 with 2x4 legs so the wall isn't bearing the weight.

The most useful addition to my storage area was the 100 gallon Rubbermaid horse trough soak tank. Gotta have clean water to work with even if all your diving is fresh water caves.
I would put a chain around the deco, high O2 bottles. Even in pic one under the bench. Rick Allen lost an arm. Just my 2 cents.
I thought everyone just used the dining room table like me.. who knew?
