NACD 45th Annual World Seminar - Save the date

The date for the NACD’s 45th Annual World Seminar has been set for the weekend of October 11, 12, and 13, 2013. As in the past, there will be a social on the evening of Friday, October 11, and the seminar will be on Saturday, October 12. Possible plans for Sunday are yet to be determined. Details such as speakers, venues, price, and times are still being finalized but I will post them as they are available.

We hope to see you during the weekend. As in the past, we will have a great lineup of speakers, vendors, prizes, a chance to socialize, and hopefully time for a few dives. On a side note, this is Columbus Day weekend in the event you have Monday as a holiday.

We can use volunteers for the social and the seminar. Please contact me if you can give us some of your time.

Hi all, here is an update on the NACD's 45th Annual World Seminar As in prior years, the social will be held Friday, October 11 at Ginnie Springs Outdoors probably starting around 5 or 6pm. Bring an appetite as there will be burgers and dogs on the grill with all the trimmings and a chili cook-off. There will also be entertainment. Admission to Ginnie for the social will be free but diving will cost you the normal fee.

The seminar will be held in Gainesville, Florida on Saturday, October 12 but we are still working out details on the venue. I'll have additional information for you by month-end.

We have had several people volunteer to help which we appreciate. If anyone else would like to volunteer, let me know. We can use your help on Friday and/or Saturday.

The location for the seminar (Saturday, October 12) will be the Paramount Plaza in Gainesville, Florida. We had a seminar here several years ago. The address is 2900 SW 13th Street (aka Highway 441.) and is about 2 miles east of I75 Their web address is www.paramountplaza.com. As more information is available concerning the venue, rooms, and speakers, I will post it.

In addition to the Friday evening (October 11) social at Ginnie Springs and the seminar on Saturday (October 12) at the Paramount in Gainesville, we will conclude the weekend with a session on Sunday, October 13. While the location is to be announced, we are scheduling time from 8AM to 2PM.

We are excited about this session as we will be revealing new training programs available exclusively through the NACD and asking for input from our membership – YOU - on these programs as well as the programs we currently offer. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be heard and help shape the future of your organization.
