    Default Ginnie 5/8/13

Santa Fe river is up from last week's rains. Depth in run has risen about a foot since yesterday and 2-3 feet since Sunday. I cannot touch the bottom cement step at Little Devil (where I can normally kneel). Tannic water over Ear, down to depth of 20' (top of the log), Eye basin is green, but only wiffs of tannic water.

Flow down, vis in cave somewhat reduced and a little milky. 50' vis.

Precisely what we found, as well, today. We aborted going in the ear and used the eye exclusively, due to the tannic water over the ear. Viz was about the same all the way to the "bats" via Roller coaster.

I was there the 12th. It was nice. The river is still high. The tanic water is still over the Ear. The Eye is clear. The main line is slightly milky, but vis is still nice. We dove Sweet Surprise and the vis was great back in that area. Flow is still pretty strong. Great diving ATM.

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.
