It has been 10 years since Chris passed away in Cow Springs on May 23/24, 2003.
Lamar did the recovery and I just happened to run into him this weekend at Little River.

    We miss you Chris!!

Ten years. Where does the time go. I only met him a few times, but he was always nice.

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.

Yes, he was a real nice guy. I alway's looked forward to seeing him. It was a very sad and difficult day/weekend when he passed.

Its sad that he died but was this a cave diving accident or suicide? If memory serves he was found with 3 working light, gas in every tank, 800 feet away from the exit and light were turned off?

Not a suicide, or accident. It was medical.

Interesting. What medical condition might cause someone to turn off all three of their working lights and stop swimming towards the exit?

I was told he was narcoleptic and had recently had his medication changed. I don't know how accurate that is.

Can you imagine a more serene place to fall asleep, though?
