    Default Rain, Rain in Live Oak, Fl and surrounding areas

    At the round-a-bout in Live Oak, FL, we received 7 1/2 inches of rain, the Suwannee River is coming up fast. The Alapaha River on Interstate 75 is in the overflow/flood area.
    The Withlachoochee River is out of it banks in Valdosta, GA

    Hi ya Cynthia! Hopefully you and David are high enough ground at the property, and everyone else for that matter. 7" of rain is no joke!

    Suwannee County
    River Flood Warning in effect

    THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE SUWANNEE RIVER AT ELLAVILLE (US 90).
    FROM TUESDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

    OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS CANCELLED.
    AT 10:00 AM SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS 45.1 FEET.
    MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
    FLOOD STAGE IS 54.0 FEET.
    FORECAST

    RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY TUESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 58.5 FEET BY THURSDAY MORNING. ADDITIONAL RISES ARE POSSIBLE THEREAFTER TO NEAR 60 FEET BY FRIDAY.
    IMPACT

    AT 58.0 FEET

    FLOODING WILL CAUSE SUWANNEE RIVER STATE PARK TO BE CLOSED.

    Mark, We are doing well. We were blessed when the 25-30 inches of rain came.
    Last year. We think of you often, the last time I spoke to you your yard and roadway was under water
    We never know what Mother Nature is going to do. Be Safe.
