Along this saying of "fight the good fight". for those that don't understand, it's not a job, hell it's not an adventure, it's a calling, something we feel honor bound to do, similar to being a Southern Gentleman, you feel obligated to open the door for a Lady,
As an attempt tho try to explain to thos that may not understand why it's done, read this, and think about it before you make any assumptions. http://www.gleamingedge.com/mirrors/...sheepdogs.html It's maybe one of the best answers I can come up with, why do you do it?

That brought a tear to my eye Jody. My vet said that entire thing to me verbatim after he gave my best friend surgery, while I was sitting with her until she woke up.

Is true to be a Green Bret you have to jump out of air plane and eat snake and be Ranger you have to jump off foot locker and eat worm. Just kidding, we provide air support to C Company 75th Rangers in Vietnam and have the up most respect for what the Rangers do.

I don't know where it cam from, but I've always liked the quote "Without the home of the Brave, there would be no Land of the Free"
