Default Santa Fe River Clean Up on November 17th

I've just been informed that the river is looking good and even somewhat clear! The Sante Fe River Clean Up is trying to do one more clean up before the holiday season gets to close. We are planning on covering the area around Ginnie ( not Ginnie property itself) Pete Butt said that he had means from both ends to get you in the water and out and that if we can get 6 people he will put boats in and everything. Please contact me or Pete to help out. Pete's number is 386-454-3556 or feel free to send me a message on here!

Will definitely be there to help clean up with our boat. Captain Milo will be in charge!

Extreme Exposure put some pics up on their FB page. They got a bunch of trash picked up.

The group got a lot of trash out of the Santa Fe, the last count I heard was somewhere north of 800 pounds. I know we filled our boat twice and managed to get a tire out. The helpers on canoes were key when bringing up bags filled with bottles.

Thanks to Pete for organizing the effort...I'm hoping to get back to that section of river with lift bags and saws to get a mattress I found trapped under a tree.

The last cleanup I helped with yielded 14 canoes piled higher than the gunwales with garbage. Mostly beer bottles...Thanks to all you guys for participating this time....
