    Default complete razer harness system

Hi all I use a modified sms 100 for all my sidemount diving, but I find it a bit bulky and really want my inflator hose running from the right side rather than the left when diving drysuits. Im looking at the complete razor system and was about to order one, but have been told by a few people it has a few problems involving dumping air when decending from the surface when vertical and the wing been a bit too large? any thoughts gratefully recieved

When descending from the surface I move to a prone position and then roll my right hip up a little. Of the various tradeoffs this doesnt bother me at all.

If I could change one thing about it I would make the wing more flat when fully inflated (and give up some lift in the process). The Razor is designed to provide 45 lbs of lift when fully inflated - but it turns into a bit of a beach ball. I wouldnt select it for a dive where my wing requirements exceeded 20 lbs because beyond that streamlining is sacrificed.

I use mine with 3 alu80's or 2 steel x7-120's. With steel tanks I use Armadillo type loops in lieau of the one piece sidemount bungee.

The wing ballons up off your back a bit. And you have to roll roughly 45deg along your long axis to dump the wing. The neck bungies I didn't like as the tanks hung down to far - especially with steel tanks. After a dozen or so dives in my razor I bought a modified SMS100 which I find much more to my liking for steel tanks.
