Thread: PSSP conditions

  1. #1

    Default PSSP conditions

Instructer Paul Heinrith is here this week and he tells me P3 is springing about 40' viz, P1 area is 40-50' viz and Orange isn't quite a good as Peacock. The P1 basin looks much better today than Sat. and Orange is a little better, more of a green color than P1. Flow is still up however the boil on the surface isn't nearly as big today.

I will see you Sunday janet if you are working. P1 is alot better than Sunday then if it has 40' or 50' Vis cause Sunday it was like 25' at best and walls were very dark. But Paul is the man if he say 40' or 50' then that is what I believe.

I dove Orange Grove Monday and it was about 30 ft vis. The basin had a greenish tint. Wonderful dive! (finished up my Intro class).

We are improving every day YET, at the park there was .25 inches of rain however 20 miles away at my house there was 4.1 inches, we have a new pond in one pasture. I see the river is rising again but not down here yet, with rain forcast for everyday it's not looking good for the future.

I would much rather see diving conditions suck due to too much rain than to go back to doing giant strides off the bottom steps. How soon we forget about the drought we recently went through for how many years Be thankful for the rains, they are the life blood of our springs that we all love so much.
