Thread: Goodman Handle

    Default Goodman Handle

Lost a hard Goodman handle coming out of Ginny on Sunday afternoon. Believe it was lost in the Eye. Had it in pictures before then.

Appreciate it if someone finds it.

    Thanks

    9/11....... I remember .........

How do you loose a light handle? Wasn't it in your hand?

My light was turned off and attached to to a D-Ring. It must have hit something just right and popped off. We were playing around in the eye taking pictures and poking around.

Got it. I hope someone finds it, and returns it.

Ask Paul Heinerth! He found mine when I lost mine in the Ear.

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

    Thanks Steve!

Isn't it funny how different divers have different favorites....I am lost without mine. Hoping someone comes across it!

Agreed. One of the most non-ergonomic designs I've ever seen in dive equip. The human hand isn't board-straight, the metacarpals have an arch to them.

So bend the aluminum into an arc

The Goodman handle was a vast improvement over holding a light, like it was a flashlight. It is really hard to use your hand for anything else, if there is a flashlight in it.

I like the Gooman handle if I'm wearing gloves or mitts. If I'm diving bare handed I prefer the elastic light holder.
