After 4 days of diving at the mill pond and this uwlightdude light is so versatile and bright I can't belive it. While exiting jackson we were be approached by 3 scooter diver and we turned our lights down so we didn't blind them, they were all using hids and were not as nice as our leds. We spoke to them later and they tolds us how nice that was of us to turn them down. They were amazed at my piezo switch on the light head. Its real, dive the lightdude and see what we see.

I'll be straight... I love all the hype this guy is getting. I am confident that he's making a great light. I'm tempted to make a change from the lights I have. BUT! There was recently a new dive gear manufacturer that hit the community like no other. Not long after he started up his operation, because he was a small operation, we found him so far behind with his new found progress that people spent MONTHS waiting on his equipment. Customers got upset, relationships were strained, and people got burned when they couldn't get their warranty issue resolved or their back ordered gear sent.

I can't wait to see these lights take off. I fear buying a light that I can't get serviced without a very long backlog due to ULD's crazy success. I have to wait and see. Only time will tell.

I am so happy with my LM light that it will be several years before I am in the market for a new light again. We will see where ULD is then and how things are still progressing (Or Not)..
