    Default Mammoth Springs

    Hey Guys(and girls),

First off, I am not a cave diver, I just thoroughly enjoy reading all of the reports and stories on this site, and hope one day soon to take the plunge and get my certifications to be able to witness some of these caves first hand.

So to get to my question, I'm wondering if anyone has any information in regards to the mammoth springs in Mammoth Springs, AR? I'm just interested to learn if anyone has ever dived it, or if there is a map of the underground spring, pictures, videos etc etc?

Just curious to learn some more information about a underground spring that is relatively close to me in Memphis, as this stuff fascinates me.

    Thanks!

Yes it has been dove. Jeff Qualm and a few of his friends dove it a few years back. They did not get in very far before hitting a tight restriction with high flow. There is a map and write up. I have a copy of it somewhere.

blessed are the cracked for they let in the light!

FWIW, it is on state property, and a permit only dive.

The Girl of Squirrel is a GIRL cave diver!

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!
