Thanks who ever replaced the steps. I was ther last month and almost fell though. Very nice!
Warning though, watch that last step. Its higher off the ground then you would expect. Not complaining just don't want someone to fall or trip.

The Sheriff had his work crew out there on Friday. They do good work... when working for the sheriff... The sheriff's 'folks' did the walkway to P1 a few years ago as well...

and orange jump suits?
those must be the locals
But still no water slide huh?
It's bad luck to be superstitious.
Thank you goes out to the Sheriff and his work crew!
Those stairs sure get a work out with dive gear.
I noticed that Madison's steps were starting to sag a bit to last time we were there.

I was just out there yesterday with my family checking out the spring. The new steps look great.![]()
They were working on the steps Friday morning. We had to walk around to get in the spring but we able to be the first cave divers to use them on the way back. Two guys and a nice lady doing the work and they looked normal. No jump suits or chains on their ankles. And yes watch that bottom step, it's about three inches taller.
