    Default PSSP, Little River

Never ever dive a popular cave the monday after DEMA. PSSP was loaded with people at every entrance, and the number of divers over at little river would have out numbered the rednecks on the hottest day of the summer. the water is so low, that climbing out of orange grove was the most challenging thing i've done since full cave. glad the shops are getting some business though...

Yeah orange grove is officially off my list until (a) the water level comes up, (b) I can do the grand traverse, or (c) NFSA puts in a boat ladder .

Yesterday was my first time in Orange Grove and I thought it was easier than P1 to exit. I just straddled that pointy-ish rock and pulled myself up to my knees and crawled right on up. I like the part about being able to sit there and rest on the steps before taking off my fins and walking back to the car.

Speaking of traverses, how are the other exit/entrances to get in/out? I've been to P1 lots and now OG so haven't yet seen Olsen or Challenge

You cant enter/exit Olsen , Pothole or Cisteen. Good luck entering Waterhole3. Supposedly you can enter/ exit Challenge unless things have changed but it will be a Challenge.

    T. Bix, when the water is where it should be, you float on to the pointy-ish rock and then easily step up onto the stairs. apparently some of us have been spoiled in the past few years. i also don't remember the giant stride into orange grove feeling like a sky dive. has anyone been over to P3 recently? whats the flow doing over there now that the water level is so low? is the syphon springing? does that happen with low water?

Tim was good to dive with you. Yes at this time Olsen is now a emerg. exit only but it was nice when you could enter and exit there. It took some of the pressure off of P1. Next time you are down and haven't seen the Waterhole I will be happy to show it to you. By then I should have my new setup problems worked out and quit hitting the bottom so much.

Usually not bad on Thanksgiving day, but Friday/Saturday will be pretty busy.
