Good News: Well the conditions at Rbd have been the same for some time from lack of rain. Viz seems to get better as you penetrate further in. On the circuit jump you can easily see the mainline.
Weather Thurs supposed to be partial cloudy with a High of 65 F. Should be less locals at the spring, being not so hot. Today I was told by a local that the spring goes in the opposite direction then it really goes. Guess we'll keep looking for that other tunnel.

Bad News: possible T-Storms late tonight. Wed. chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a half an inch.

Check in Emerg. Center by 1700, exit spring by 1900. That's what they put out.

    Viz: ~25 ft.
Flow: very week. entering with AL 80 stage bottle is a none issue.

I know military times are whacky, but I'm sure this quote is wrong. You can check in the Emergency Center at 8:00 AM, and I believe they want you out of the spring by dark--and then sign back out at the Emergency Center shortly after leaving the spring. That would usually be in the PM, but my clock only goes up 12:00 whether morning or eve.

I have asked for permission to stay later, and they let me with no problems. Not so sure if i want to be there long after dark anyway though. Most of the locals reminds me too much of Telford.

I'm referring to evening dives cause they want you out by dark. The lady at the emergency center is telling me this w/out asking. I think the morning check in is 0700 because sunrise is before that.

If your non military and operating on civilian time that's... COME & GO ANY DARN TIME YOU WANT

BTW Water temp is 66F & 64 F in lower part

Let us know how the rain effected it by Thursday PM, while we still have a chance to switch to Poplar Bluff.

I know the storms woke me up a few times over night, not sure what they got in Waynesville over night.

It rained some here in Waynesville today.

Conditions inside are the same. Though some places look a little cloudy while other places the viz is great (for Rbd). On the circuit I could often shine the light over in the direction of the mainline and see it. Seen a couple crayfish, one albino.

Weather for 65583 zip here says: Thurs: Mostly sunny skies. High 66F. Chance of rain 30% later.
Fri.: Cloudy with a few showers. High 64F. Chance of rain 30%.

    Viz: ~15-25ft.
Flow: very very weak. Upon exit you can just sit at the cave entrance and stay there
Temp: 66F, and a couple degrees lower down deeper

Hey out-of-towners: You could ask for better conditions than this at RBD, but it is really rare to get them!!
I think the curse is broken! Where's Shirley when you need her? Get up here, sis!

See y'all Friday morn, 9:00ish in the AM. Or whatever Dewey Decimal system time the military would call that.
