Cave Country Crowded Week before DEMA?
As the thread title suggests, I'm planning a trip to the High Springs area the week of October 23. It's just been pointed out to me that that's the week before DEMA. I'm wondering if the area is going to be crowded with pre-DEMA divers or not. Anybody have any insights? Thanks.

I'd bet the week after DEMA would be busier b/c of the NACD workshop on the 11th-13th.

thanks for the info. I didn't think it would be too crowd the week before. I can see people arriving maybe the weekend before DEMA for a few days of cave diving, but we're leaving Friday or Saturday, so no problem there. I would also think that more people would hang around a few days after to dive rather that the week before.
Theres plenty of room in the caves, ive yet to be too crowded down there, well once at Little River. The parking lot might be different but we get there early and all is good. Bad part about alot of divers topside is I tend to do more talking than diving. I thought Dema and React was the same weekend but may be mistaken.
