I noticed these spg's as well. Someone wanted to sell me one of the older Scubapro black face SPG's the other day. Are the black faced gauges hard to see in the cave... using your light of course. I have never owned a black faced spg.

The old ones are 3500psi, and I don't believe I'd trust a 35-year-old gauge.

I'm still trying to decide if I want these without boots. (Scubapro is no longer making the good ones.)

These are the smaller 1.5in ones. White face, newer style. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow, I'm out of town at the moment.
