i was there about three weeks ago for a short dive. we swam up stream from catfish and then made the traverse. vis and flow were average for manatee, meaning only a little particulate in the water and we were able to swim comfortably and drift out at a nice relaxed pace. water level was up past the platform at the end of the stairs.
