    Default Macs and dive computers

My experience with PC dive software on MAC PC emulators ( Fusion and Parallels)
has been "less than satisfactory." I finally bought a used PC just for my dive computer. Even that was a bit of a disappointment for me.

As of today Shearwater Predator software now works with MACs. I installed BETA software tonight , downloaded all my dives w/i 2 minutes.

    Hallelujah!

Good to hear there is some native support coming out finally. Wonder if there protocols are open? I've been working on a dive log app for the iPhone and it would be cool to start integrating some connectivity with the popular technical computers.

Where'd you get the BETA version? I've been waiting for this!

Hmmm this just might be the deciding factor on which new dive computer to buy!

Just contact Shearwater and ask to try it.

But their last email to me: "We have been in beta test for the Mac desktop software for several weeks now. We should be ready for general release any time now"
