    Default Peacock is flooded

    Hi,
The water at Orange is right at the top of the wood for the walkway, it's odd standing level with the water & all you see is duckweed.
All sinks are very dark still, the Peanut Restriction has about 15 feet of water in it, Pothole is about 2/3rds full. No rivers have crested to date and we got over 2" of rain again yesterday.
    Sorry the news isn't better.
    Janet

    Janet,
Maybe the next time I dive it my dome won't be a dome anymore. Prepare for another kiosk! Kelly and Jim know where it is! /Ken

Absolutely Ken. Next time you stick your arm up it could be touching air.

    Default Saturday's conditions

We are about 14" under last falls height right now, with all the rain we keep getting we may reach it. If your in the area walk down the trail cleared from Olsen to Peacock, you'll see the trees near Waterhole in 6' of water the porch has disappeared totally, it is interesting to see. I was at Orange yesterday trying to determine if there were any gators in the sink I decided what I was looking at was a piece of wood, well after awhile the wood blinked & moved about 2' to the right, it was a 3' gator.
    Stay dry! Janet
    PS Will do Ken!

It is, or was touching air its that little bit of limestone above it that needs some time alone with gravity! /K

    Default PSSP Update

I had an errand at Cave Excursions to run today so I went to the park.
At Orange Grove the water is a foot higher than last fall, there is about
a foot of wood left uncovered along the end of the railing where the walkway starts, the rest is under water. Water was just past the cement area of the walkway, not to far into the grass. Olsen, Peanut Restriction and Challenge are about two thirds full, at Pothole the water is about three feet below the old Pothole Road surface and water coming back from P1 is back to the old Pothole road. I walked down the trail to the porch area, mosquitoes everywhere.
When I put the video camera on the tv we could see about 5" of railing left uncovered at the porch. Water is over the road right before the Bonnet curve coming from Luraville. It looked fairly deep, I chose not to drive through it.
The three sinks in the pasture there are all full of water. The good new is in a few days the river should start to fall.

I wish vis in Orange Grove was good. I'd love to dive Lower Lower and get a max depth reading on the back side of the circuit right now.
