    Default what is the closest cave to panama city

    I live in pc and dive the mil pond alot but someone told me there is a cave in Vernon just off hwy79? any one know anything about this??

    Ebro is up that way, but you need a boat. The road access is not only blocked, but you need 4wd to get there.

    That's the closest and only backmount cave that I know in that area. You can find some information about it here.

    Be careful before you start wandering in those parts...I suggest you rent this movie, it was a 1981 film but don't think things have changed there much. Bill

    Yeah, in BM, Ebro is it... Lots of sidemount stuff, but most of the caves are firehoses and/or really really soft/chaulky/crumbly/collapsely

    Even when you go sidemount, JB and the Mill Pond caves will be the quickest to get to. By the time you get off the paved road or down the river to get to your location, you'll be in the water diving JB already. Not to say those systems aren't worth it. It just depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for different systems to dive or something closer to cut down the drive?

    to cut down on the drive a bit and diving a different system wouldnt be bad
