I saw this in the panama city news herald this am:

I have my eyes set on several springs along Wrights Creek, just haven't visited them in person. I'm pretty sure I know which one this is though :P There definition of cave might be kinda funny.
If anyone knows more about this hit me up please
A Natural Spring
Obviously the potentiometric surface of the Floridan is above the elevation of the ground along Wright's Creek. That being said, this may not be a naturally occurring spring.
The pictures of the spring run look fishy. Not a lot of erosion on the banks, or exposed limestone.
It may be a drilled well that wasn't properly abandoned (plugged), or it is a well that was never intended to be plugged (providing real estate value). Either way, the drilled out area will "spring" ground water.
There was a significant amount of Real Estate speculation in that area back in 05-06, so nothing would surprise me there.
