    Default Peacock Question

    Hey quick question.

when diving the Olsen bypass from the crossover side, which is the best way to go, put in a spool and go to the left at the big bend exiting just by pnut restriction, or follow the line to the right and exit onto the gold just up from olsen.

Toward the end of the bypass tunnel starting from the crossover, there are 3 ways to exit onto gold line. The larger room before the end of the tunnel there is line way over to the right, but this terminates into a low flat area with the gold line above your head. There is tunnel to the left at the bend, but this line is very tight and used to go through the middle of the passage. I have always found it easier to go straight and the gold line is directly in front of you.

    Thanks,

if I remember correctly the line actually goes right at the big bend, and the left hand fork is a jump. From your description then, you are advocating to put in a reel go left and then at the 2nd fork go straight? this would bring me out of the middle exit from the bypass?

HMM... maybe i should just go and look ....

    Yes,this is correct.

If you see Rick Crawford ask him about the elusive other Olsen bypass tunnel

Ok, went to look at it. Now I see. I was a little off on where I thought I was when I asked
the question, now I know. We went to the crypt so I just did a bit of a reccy on it on the
    way back..

had a great dive anyway !!
