    Default Professional photo shoot

Anyone here ever hired a pro to do a photo shoot? If so, who?

It's fun to shoot photos and video, but I think it would be fun to just go dive and let someone else take the shots (someone who knows what they are doing).

Edit - Guess I should clarify... We'll be in the north florida area diving in Marianna, as well as the Lake City / High Springs areas.

Florida or Akumal? In Akumal Steve Gerrard does an outstanding layout.

    Kenneth Clizbe <kenclizbe@msn.com>

Ken took some VERY nice photos for my group in March. He posts them online and lets you pick and choose which ones you want to order. You can order prints, or the digital file.

I think you could probably work out a deal to hire him to come take your pics and arrange for you to purchase all the photos.

I am the one in a borrowed sidemount rig (I always hate diving other people's gear...)

He is a real nice guy and excellent diver and photographer.

My Cave 1 class hired Danny Riordan to do a photo shoot with us after we passed (hubris, we hired him before we finished the class!) It was a really enjoyable experience. I had never dealt with a professional underwater photographer of his ilk before. The process of being a model was challenging, and the photographs were awesome, despite our clumsiness in following orders:

Gene Page is in the High Springs, FL area and has done an outstanding job for numerous dive related operations. He can be reached on this board as WEPIV.

I haven't hired anyone, but I've seen Paul Heinerth's work first hand and it is excellent.

    Jill Heinerth does excellent work.

Acutally Amanda is living in the Spring Hill/Tampa area now. I'm sure she'd still be willing to do a shoot in Marianna. She's just not 'around the corner' anymore.

There is no limit. We'll always find a way to go deeper and deeper. That's been the pattern all along.
