    Default Need help Locating Ballast

I'm looking for a ballast for a older Dive Right MLS 10 watt hid.
I'm using the light head on a newer canister but the Ballast is bad. I checked Welsh Allyn but trying to figure which one it is is hard if they don't show a pic of it for me. I checked the Ballast for a part number but of course there is none. I emailed Dive Rite but as of yet they haven't responded. I even emailed Welsh Allyn but no response. I attached a pic in hopes someone may be able to help.

    You pic is awfully small....

Look at the specs sheets (with drawings if I recall) on the WA website. The colors of the wire will tell you which 10 watt ballast you have. They have a few different 10 watt ballasts with different input voltages which are wire color coded.

You have to click on the pic for larger view.
I figured it out using your info about the wires. Dive Rite responded as well. They no longer carry that part. Like so many things today they discontinued them. The only difference is they put an extension plug on it. Easy enough to do my self. The ballast is only $11 at WA
    Thanks for the help

Good news. I'm surprised it's only $11. Also, in case you want to "upgrade" there was a discussion on here or TDS about a 15 watt ballast that is a direct fit for the old 10 watt. Worth a look.

FYI The pic is still small when click on it.

Just out of curiosity, I looked up the WA 10W ballasts I bought 3 years ago for $70 each (bought a spare to cover their $100 minimum purchase). Now $11 - ouch:
