    FYI to Peacock Springs users

Please display your c-card and park pass on the dashboard in a manner that the ranger can read it. Not doing so can result in your vehicle's tag being written down and receiving a ticket in the mail.

For the visitors that get a blue envelope, dive, then return the blue envelope to the box without payment may result in a very unfortunate visit with law enforcement.

The ranger staff has a job to do,and keeps a closer eye than we may think. Cave divers at the state parks typically have a good reputation, lets keep it that way.

Thanks for the reminder Kelly. It does not take but couple of "bad apples" to make it hard for the rest of us.

Pretty crappy that this post even needs to exist... its not even like we(cave divers) can point fingers at someone else, its not like Peacock is a huge draw for other types.

I have yet to see a ranger since Janet left. Its habit to leave cards on the dash and have yet to forget but recieving a ticket would be a real bummer.

Was there on a weekday recently hoping to buy a pass from the ranger but alas, no ranger ever showed. Paid our $15 and figured we'd try again for the pass later, I know on weekends I usually see a ranger either before or after the dive, perhaps they aren't around as much on weekdays?

Seeing or not seeing a ranger is mutually exclusive to cave divers not displaying their credentials correctly, and cave divers not paying. I think with budget cuts and shorter staffing they have other responsibilites.

It is probabaly just a timing issue. I was there 2 days this week & saw a ranger on both days.
