After many months of excessive rain & fire hydrant-like flow, Roubidoux is back in business! The flow was so mild I was able to back-kick into the cavern entrance to make a primary tie-off! Visibility was hazy, milky, but still had about 20-25 ft. vis in most of the system.
Everything is silt-covered: rocks, main line, line arrows. Main line is broken in the lower tunnel at app. 550 ft. penetration, but it is securely tied off, and we ran a gap spool to where the other end is also securely tied off about 20 ft. away.
We turned our dive at 850 ft. and rode the gentle flow back out, needing to kick, but not very much.
