What's up with all the duckweed at Peacock 1?

I have never seen duckweed at peacock1.

OG and Peacock have both been around a long time. With all the floods and all the divers, seems strange only now Peacock has duck weed.

The problem is I see diver after diver not eating the recommended 8oz before and after each dive. If everyone would do their part, it would be gone quickly.

I recall when we had a bad drought a number of years ago there was duckweed at P1,but a good flood washed it away,and OG too. We need a good steady rain to bring the aquifer back up,and a good flood to "heal" Peacock cave system

'duckweed' is indigenous to Florida waters BTW-! It is commonplace amongst several of our popular springs & sinkholes-!

Just asking here, but isn't duckweed good for water clarity, or is that just a myth?
