Whodunit, I just PayPalled you $55.00 for five and shipping. I used the "Personal" tab so you shouldn't be charged a fee. If this isn't correct, let me know.

Total hijack here: are PayPal users aware of the "Personal" tab? Had I known about it this past summer when I used PayPal to buy a used scooter I could have saved $90.

I thought there was a way to avoid the 3% fee if you were taking money out of your own PayPal account, but I couldn't figure out how. So I had to pay $3,090 instead of $3,000 so the seller wouldn't be out the 3%.

When you go to "Send Money" there is a box below "Amount" where you can choose from two tabs, "Purchase" and "Personal." As stated earlier, if you have the money in your account and use "Personal," the seller doesn't have to pay the 3% fee.

    Default Just picked up 4.

After reading yesterday's posts, I decided that picking up a couple more mini-spools for myself and few to give as Xmas gifts (divers are easy to buy for) would be a good idea.

Now the best part, after PM'ing Whodunit68, I found out that he is currently living quite close to my new diggs in NJ. So less than 3 hours later the spools were in my grubby little hands.

Not a bad day, even got my new wireless N 2 Band router hooked up with only a bit of ranting - the internet is mine.

I'm bringing a few for those who requested them...I'm not hauling extras so if you're interested in saving the shipping, let me know before I leave on Thursday.

hope the router is up 'n running! thanks for the coffee...
with my move to South America, I'm not going to need these. I'll hold onto a few for myself but I'm going to crack the other box of 50.

So, that means with the 10 left from box #1 and I'll share 40 or so from the original, I'll part with 50 more. Up for grabs, same price here on CDF...not looking to make a profit, just share the savings with my cave diving brethern and bretherenettes (yes, that's a real Steve-word) and save the expense of shipping back to Argentina.

    so, started at 100, 40 are gone, I'm keeping 10. 50 left.

and new updated info - it's not only 3% but I've lost a few pennies here and there (now over $1!) because I thought it was 3% but it's 3.427%.

    Thanks for sharing this.

man if you sent this only a few hours earlier. I just landed in northern FL for a weekend of diving before I go back to BrasÃ#l. This is actually only a short stay in BrasÃ#l and I'll be back in NJ on 31 August. If you can wait until then, I can ship some out. Of the 200, I'm down to about 15-20 (I have to check).
I'll be back in Northern Florida the weekend after so can bring some down.

to what company? to Neptuno? He's on the board here too. He ships from Argentina (by the way, while home in BrasÃ#l I might stop by Buenos Aires and maybe can pick up more).
I don't work for the company...I bought a bunch trying to save everyone on shipping, etc.
If you purchase from Neptuno, great. Let me know if you want me to send or bring next time...
