I am new around here...only cavern certified. Getting my gear together now, so I can do Intro. in a few months. It is rather sobering to hear so many experienced cave divers talk about taking a hit.

Why are there so many hits with cavers...given the attention that has to be paid to air consumption, distance, depth, etc.? I am frankly surprised that so many have had issues.
