    98's were the last year of the non-PI motors as well. Pushrod motors continued on past 1995 in Saleen S351s until 98 though (351w).

    5.0's, like my car, were pushrod, or over head valve (OHV) motors. The post 95 mustangs were 4.6L modular over head cam motors (OHC).

    So, my real estate friend tells me Whippoorwill is still for sale, and the owner is very much in need of some quick cash. 2 acres and your own cave for well under the current list price of $35,000.00 Any one interested let me know.

    Wow, sounds like a deal.....but something tells me that getting a liability policy for that may be an issue.

    I know that area well being an ex land surveyor & since been a realtor in the area for 27 years. The sinks in that area tie into & are south of Hornsby - I'm guessing upstream. I had some friends way back that dove them - I never did I was always just a mainline kinda tourist. I remember back in the mid 80's when we subdivided those parcels for Vaughn & one day John Harper (think Harper tunnel) who lived in the area came & dove the sink on the particular lot we were staking out on 236. We saw bubbles appear & he came up covered w/duckweed & our mouths dropped open...something I'll never forget. BTW, Jim Lockwood used to live right across 236 on the other side.
