    Default Eagles Nest Planning

Was looking for some info on Eagles Nest. Wanted to see what kind of distances and depths you are getting at those distances (max & average depth before deco)?
i would be swimming using LP85s overfilled and maybe a stage.
Curious to see what kind of profiles and distanes people are doing.

    Thanks

I would think about finding a buddy or a guide that has been there before for your dive. Also as a first dive to the nest I would stay in the ballroom and keep it to a depth of less than 150. That in itself is an aw inspiring dive. Have a good time and enjoy.

Big, deep, silty for both upstream and downstream initially. Depending upon mixtures figure 3 minutes of deco for every min BT.

Thanks for the info. Looks like i might be putting this off for a little because i believe I am going to have to learn how to dive all over again [getting a rebreather ]

    thanks,

Have a great time with the rebreather. I may have misunderstood your question and please feel free to contact TJ or myself with any questions about your dives to the nest.

My wife was diving LP85s with a stage and we were doing a bottom time of 20-25 minutes with a max depth of 235'. Cannot remember if this was up or down stream. Don't really gauge my dives on distance so I cannot help you out with this info.

Overall run time around 70-80 minutes. Just a guess from memory. Will have to look up in log book for exact times.

    Hope this helps.
