Devil's Eye DPV Informational Sign
After the recent change to the gold line in Devil's Eye, an informational sign has been attached at the Henkle restriction which communicates that, for conservation purposes, DPV's are not allowed any further into the cave. The back side of this sign is blank, and is NOT intended to be used in any casual, flippant manner to write notes of a derogatory nature.

Sounds to me like he was not saying you can't write on it...feel free to do so so long as what you write is serious and non-derogatory...i am already working on a haiku poem for my next visit.

As for me, not that I've thought about it before until reading this, but I'll write on that POS, stupid, cheesy ridiculous slate anytime I want, when I want, and how I want. If one is going to post an "informational sign" @ the Hinkel, then it needs to be a little higher class than that sad-assed stupid thing blowing in the current so you can't even see it.

Andrew and Bill: Good to see that the Reaper has not grabbed you two (semi) old farts. We will be down there next week, where the FIRST thing that I will be gearing-up for is my own personal little message on the back of that worthless sign.
