Default Georgia 3D Fest (with stereo slides of UW caves)

This might intrest you, if you live near Atlanta.

    ------------------------------------------------------
    Georgia 3D Fest

Two TAG Cave Stereo Cave Photographers will be featured at the Georgia 3D Fest on February 12, 9 am to 4:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Select Conference Center, 130 Clairmont Ave, Decatur, GA. Admission is $5. Kids under 12 are free.

Mike McEarchin and Al Hess will project their Stereo 3-D slides, taken in caves in TAG, and around the world. Mike will show his slides around 10:30, Al will show his slides around 2:30. There will also be other world-class stereo photographers presenting work at the Fest.

Some of Al Hess' slides are of UW caves, and reefs.

Thanks Forrest. As a side note, what ever became of the slide presentation that Jamie used to do-remember?

Is that Jamie from Columbus? If so, I saw it in 1996, and what a production! Nine Ektographic projectors and a computerized dissolve unit, plus the syncronized sound system. Of course, today it could be done with a simple laptop and a video projector, but with nowhere near the resolution.

He still has everything, but he says it takes half a day to align everything.
