Default Congratulations to Michael Angelo and team

I would like to congratulate everybody involved with this project. When the vandalism occured at Cow Springs I consulted with the top people involved in cave restoration, and they didn't have any suggestions on how to do cave restoration in a submerged cave. Suddenly we were in uncharted territory, and depending on things like a flood,or a gentle brush of the hand wouldn't suffice. Michael had been working for over a year, not only consulting with experts in the areas of clay, beta testing this in the water, but determining how to remain stationary in the flow to enact repair without causing more damage. This is good news for the people who love Cow Springs, not only with the hard work of Ken Hill we caught one of the vandals, but we got the clay banks back to their glory.

Everyone involved went above and beyond what was expected. Any chance there could be a press release with a story about this? It would be a nice change from the "Diver Dies in Cave" stories and would show what cave divers can and are willing to do to preserve what we so much love.

    Default cave art

awhile back there was a thread in which MA and others discussed cave art. the posts concerned just what cave art might be that would not also be defacing the cave (carving a frieze?). Could one erect a statue? Or more subtly produce underwater cave art?

i think MA found his cave art!

    Great work!

But is the "artist" (what else could you call someone capable of work like this) really named Michael Angelo?

Yes my full name is Michael Angelo Gagliardi
My mother being Irish picked the first name which HAD to be irish since we already had and Italian last name. My Dad got to pick the Middle name after Mom picked first name. And so the battle went.
