It's been raining a bit up here in GA. Plus our water heater busted and my wife made me put in a new water heater that is twice the size of the old one. Now she takes more baths and all to the brim (now that it is all hot water). She probably drains about 160 - 200 thousand gallons a day

Make her stop, man....for goodness sake! Some of us get all weirded out without a regular diet of cave diving...and get slightly crazy...it's for the good of humanity....you must stop her!

Now sis. With all that you have to chooes from down there and what few we have, it is about time some rain gets to you all. Need to get that aquifer recharged.

Just think, you can drive a few more hours and have so many that might be divable and it seams to not last as long as what we have up here to clear or become divable.

I just checked the graphs (AHPS) and it looks like the With has started to drop in Valdosta and has leveled off near Madison. So it looks like the Withy should start dropping here soon , according to the river guages.

The Suwannee ALSO seems to be leveling off , at least at the upstream guages. Also , the Luraville guage seems to be leveling off a bit too , but it was still going up a bit. I think I saw about a 5 foot rise in about a week. (but it's late , and I might have read the graph wrong.)

Now back to your regular scheduled programming , already in progress.

P.S. Flew into Boston Sun night and got to see a little snow on the ground. But the the wind blowing about 25-30 MPH , it feels like about -10 degrees out there. (NASSY)

True, but it would be better for it to recharge from Florida rain, not nasty black river water from some Georgia swamp
