Default Jackson Blue condition and site to choose from

    Hi,
Will be in FL at the end of december.
How is the flow right now at JB. We don't have scooters. Last March the flow was down and the diving there was ok without a scooter. We did more that 1600'. I would loke to know how it looks now to know if it is realistic to plan a few days over there...

Also, we have the chance to do Alachua or Indian Spring. Maybe we will do both, but if we have to choose, witch would be the best choice? Never did theses caves and dont know anybody that did them. I know they are guided. We are trimix divers also.

    Thanks
    Phil

Looking in my logbook, compared to last March the vis is up and the flow is down.

Last weekend the flow was significantly less than what I'd experienced before.

The flow has definitely been dropping in JB over the past several months. As long as we don't get a lot of rain for a while, it will probably keep dropping. I'm not sure when in March you were last here, but the flow started picking up towards the end of March/beginning of April. Before the rains and the increased flow, I was swimming back to 3000' with a single stage. After the increase, it was difficult to get to 1500'. I've been scootering it since. But I've also been thinking about doing a swim dive there sometime soon.

Last Saturday the flow was quite light. Visibility was its usual incredibly clear.

Flow is down some... we turned yesterday at the kings bypass line on time, not gas.

I dove JB yesterday afternoon for the first time in 6 months. I would say the flow is down compared to last May. I scootered to King's Bypass but it looks like I could have swam there.
