Got signed in at the 911 office like we are suposed to. The gal there saw I wsa from Branson and said she would be down there next month for a few days, I then gave her anumber to call to contact my COmunicaitons Supervisor for EMS to take a look at our Dispatch center.
Well met up with a buddy and we headed to the spring. Went over our dive plan and some back ups. I was diving my GEM (first time in a cave with the O2 sensoner to monito PPO2) but have had several deco dives in OW with it. Plan was for us to do a 30 mintue BT or no more then 1000 foot penatraionl, wich ever came first. My buddy was using a set of 95's that he might take to FL later next month. I was SM my tanks and have a GEM scrubber that I can wear BM.
We started taking our tanks to the water, I had to take more then he did darn it. But the short walk wsa easyer for me after we got our suits on.
It has been a long time since I have seen RBD this good. My buddy said the flow is down and the vis is down maybe 5-10 feet from last weekend. We had about 25-10 foot of vis and very very low flow. Yup FW this would have been a great time for you to come up, LOL.
Well, from the tables cut and the back ups that we had planed, diving my GEM saved me so much in deco. After I got out of the lower tunnle I had only 10 minutes of deco and then when I got to the 70 foot mark and we got our 50%, and then moved into the upper tunnle I was out of deco, I still dived with the plan that we had.
Made it to just past the 950 foot arrow. BG was 24%, deco was 50% & 100%. Max depth 150, with at total run time of 72 minutes.
Had such a blast, it has been to long sicne I have had time to get up there to RBD and go play. What fun I had. Thought about you FW and wishing you could have been here, you to sis.
