Default Thanks to everyone who has helped make the back of Devils THE NEW "MUST SEE" place.

I am pleased to report that there were some new visitors to this highly touted location today. The viz on the main line from the coat hangers on back was under 10 feet today. I saw one scooter team turn the dive at 1350 due to the conditions.
My guess is this was not due to any excavation, but just sightseers. (based on the type and size of the particulate in the water. Fortunately the conditions yesterday were ideal so I got at least one enjoyable dive in for this trip. Keep up the good work so that at least one team will go back there every day!

Some friends and I just dove at Devil's and the vis in the system was 75+..... Don't know what you're talking about!

    Safe diving,

    Rich

P.S. There are lots of reasons that vis can be blown in the cave, let's not hop on the bandwagon and make it "cause people were in the way back" syndrome.....

Are you going to tell me that's the first time you've seen bad vis in Ginnie?

The Northwest corner is FAR more prone to siltouts than the back of the gold line.

Plus, did you do any investigation into who was back there? If someone is silting it out, call them on it. Don't just whine.

Thats SARCASM, not whining, and the point is still valid.

PS this post was not aimed at your exploration, I have nothing against exploration. If you want a further clarification pm me and I will elaborate privately.

Just for the record I talked to the 'scooter team that was forced to turn their dive' and that statement is not true...
I just thought you should know in case you wanted to edit your whine (ahem)POST!

Maybe someone did do some sandcrawling, but FYI, sometimes there are some natural occurences at Ginnie that have the same affect.

    "Is this thing on?"
