    Default Tallahassee road closure due to sinkhole

    FYI, see below. The karst is fighting back against the road widening project! There's a few diveable sinkholes not too far from that location.

    A portion of Capitol Circle South East, between Tram Road and Woodville Highway is closed due to a 9x9x9 sinkhole in the roadway ½ mile east of Woodville Highway. No structures are in danger at this time. Sandco is already on scene working on the Road.

    The entire place is honeycombed with cave, I'm suprised this isn't happening far more often.

    oh, they'll never open that up for diving. they'll be afraid we'd get hit by cars while getting in the water. hahahaha

    The entire area is the sneak capitol of cave diving, if it were divable, they wouldn't HAVE to let people in LOL

    I'd love to see a picture looking down into the hole, but I guess they won't let you that close.

    HA, yeah. KP probably already has an exclusive-access permit drafted up just in case water starts bubblin up.
