Tom, you are the pot calling the kettle black. You are not a resident of FL; you are a resident of SC and with that I am disappointed if you are a son of SC as I am and EXTREMELY proud of my family's 500 year presence in SC. Are you trying to carpet-bag another state? Apparently you just leach off Florida while you drive down with your psuedo-cool CAVDIVR [sic] license plate -- wow you are cool. Stay in SC and I am woefully sorry I supported you last year. What a ****ing waste!

Grow the **** up everyone, there will always be exploration! Isn't that why you cling to the Internet boards? You all want to live vicariously through someone else but when real explorations happens in your backyard you are taken aback? Wake the **** up...instructor does not equal explorer...not even ****ing close (remember the addage - those that can't teach, those that can do!).

There is so much ****ing line to be laid in NFL it is stupid? How many of you ****heads have dove Gator (Agnes has -- and laid line), How many of you posers have been to Wilson, O'Leno, Rose, McCormick or even Siphon Creek (**** the list goes on and on and on and on?) Oh let me guess...not a ****ing one or you! If you are sad because your fat lack of exploration asses cant get to the back of Ginnie then go the **** home and smoke another bowl -- apparently it makes you guys feel good. Maybe you are better pulling shark's teeth from the Cooper -- I am sure Tom can set that massive dive exploration up for you...

Marius, Mark, Andrew(155'), Agnes (phenomenal photographer), James (164')...I salute you!

Wow ...This reminds me of George's ranting and raving

Some people have, but don't boast about it. Just because it is not on the Internet, doesn't mean it didn't happen....

Other than Walter, very very few on this forum have been in Rose, McCormick, or O'leno. I doubt more than a couple have been in Syphon Creek; it resembles work, you just can't back up to the water.

Do you think it would be better if caves like that were used for training? I mean, it would certainly let people know right away if they had the heart for the sport!

You are missing the point. I thought this thread was about stifling the documentation of exploration. You didn't like Walter's rant; I fully understand it. People that have been there and done that being hobbled by has beens and wannabes.

No I don't think those sites should be training sites; these sites take alot of experience. I don't mean 200 dives at ginnie. I mean the type of experience gained over the years by diving many different sites.

That is one of the problems with cave diving today. New divers with money that think because they have 2 or 300 uneventful dives at LR, Peacock, Ginnie, Manatee in their first two years believing they have experience. TRUE experience comes with surviving close calls, being in total darkness, finding the line in a total siltout.

Experience allows you to keep you s*** together when it hits the fan; NOT scootering to the Hinkle a dozen times. Experience takes time; alot of time.

    Jerry
