Perhaps the cave organizations should be paying to replace these lines on a regular basis since the wear and tear is mostly from students doing drills and such on exits. I don't know too many regular cave divers that have to have line contact throughout their dive, contributing to line wear and tear. By the way, I dove ginnie sunday and monday and liked the line on the floor.... easy to see from high up above while avoiding the flow.
