Electrical tape on the bottom 2 inches of the cath after you fully unroll it. That should leave you enough room to tape another inch or 2 on your member. Has worked for me in the past.

Brand matters. Some have glue from hell that stays on but you need alcohol to remove - not fun, but at least you stay dry. Others seem to use so little glue that they just slip off. Buy 3 or 4 of each brand until you find one that works.

Oh... and let your ego go. if you need a littl'un, well... you need a littl'un.... not that this applies to ME, you understand....

Quit buying those extra large caths that only fit when exited.

    wideband caths

I'm on my phone...Ill post a link later.

    Edit-
Here's the page to request FREE samples
    http://www.rocm.com/reqsamples.php

Here's the page with the wideband info-
    http://www.rocm.com/products.php?id=10#wideband

I had a "pop on" last Saturday at ginnie, and when I primed it before getting all my gear on (while cooling off in the drysuit at the spring run), it nearly popped OFF. They're great for a single dive, as they don't hurt to get off, but don't try to do 4+hours per day in the water with one!

Note to first time Catheter buyers. Generally most of us use mediums. When making your purchase, consider buying at least 10-12 mediums, one large(or x- large) and one small.

Why do I suggest this? The mediums are for your personal use. The large is to put on the dashboard of "your" car while diving. The small is for your dive buddies dashboard while diving.

What I don't get is why everyone is so keen to let their fellow (predominantly male) cave divers know how big their... err... condoms are.

Perhaps y'all should move to my neck of the woods - or even better, San Francisco!

Oh - and TDS has a waaaay better catheter thread right now:

Sorry to hear about your issues buddy, all information I'll take to heart when I get in my drysuit for the first time too.
