Rescued
Well went by the spot on the way to mainland saturday and on the way out i found the snail and gave him a ride back out. Placed him on the log in the eye with some buddies and he started moving, apparently unharmed in the ordeal...sure he has a great abduction story to tell....sorry i need to control my tendecy toward anthropomorphism.
